On-page SEO
On-page SEO is the practice of
optimizing individual web pages to rank for them. It refers to both the content
and the HTML code on a page that can be optimized. This includes measures to
optimize the content or improve Meta Description and Title Tags. In contrast,
off-page SEO refers to links and other signals.
Meta description
The meta description is an expert of
up to about 155 characters, an HTML tag, that summarizes the content of a page.
Search engines show meta descriptions in search results, mainly when the search
term is found in the description. Therefore, meta-description optimization is
very important for on-page SEO. 155–160 characters are used for a page, and 155 characters are used for an article. The lists of pages and the lists of
articles are different. The pixel width is 1024. Spelling and grammatical
errors are not allowed here. The meta description must be unique. URLs can only
be 90 characters long.
Rich Extracts
Rich snippets stand out from others.
They look much better, and you will instantly know more just by looking at
them. Rich snippets are snippets with higher click-through rates. People mostly
tend to click on rich snippets.
If your snippet's click-through rate goes up, you will get more traffic from that search result. Not because your position in search engines has changed, but simply because more people are visiting your results. In the long run, rich snippets will also affect your rankings. As more and more people click on your results, Google will notice that people frequently use your page more than others. This will definitely improve your ranking.
Title Section
HTML defines six levels of headings.
The title element deals with all font changes, pre, and post-paragraph breaks,
and any white space needed to display the title. The heading elements are H1,
H2, H3, H4, H5, and H6, with H1 being the top level (or most important) and H6
being the lowest level.
H1: This is the main part of the HTML. The most relevant data will be displayed as a header. The main keyword is used here. The primary key is considered an important search key. H1 has pre-sizing, word limit, and contrast properties.
H2: is used to represent the
secondary keywords or the next level keyword.
Google Sandbox
The temporary data store mentioned
here, the database, confuses the data and the content of a sandboxed page. The
Google Sandbox is very similar to a new site on probation and kept at a lower
level in search, before receiving the full value of its incoming links and
content.
Content optimization
Content optimization is a process in
which a website and its content are optimized to be more engaging, useful, and
actionable for users. Processes often include bug fixes and technical
performance improvements (for example, page speed) and duplicate content to
perform better and rank higher in search engines.
Anchor text
Anchor text is also known as a link
tag or link title. The words in the anchor text help determine the ranking the
page will receive from search engines like Google or Yahoo. Links without
anchor text commonly occur on the web and are referred to as blank URLs or URL
anchor text. Different browsers display anchor text differently, and using the
right anchor text can help the linked page rank for those keywords in search
engines.
Keyword optimization
Keyword optimization (also known as
keyword research) involves researching, analyzing, and selecting the best
keywords to target to drive qualified search engine traffic to your website.
"Keyword density" is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page out of the total number of words on the page. In the context of search engine optimization, keyword density can be used to determine if a web page is relevant to a specified keyword or key phrase. Content should be simple. The focus keyword is used at the beginning of the content. Keywords used right before periods and commas (this helps to rank faster)
Optimize images
Web image optimization is about
delivering high-quality images in the right format, size, dimensions, and
resolution while keeping the dimensions as small as possible. Image
optimization can be done in several ways: resizing the image,
caching, or compressing the size. Introducing Image Kit, an intelligent image
optimization engine that optimizes images using a smart compression algorithm.
Combined with a global content delivery network for faster delivery, it can
dramatically improve your site's performance.
